英语作文 篇1
Many teenagers believe that chasing the fashion and act in the different way can make them the attractive person. They have the wrong understanding of charm, the charm is a kind of personality, which is cultivated in the long way. An attractive person is knowledgeable. The way he talks can impresses us, when we discuss about the problem, he can give us the profound opinion and leads us to search the problem. So we need to read more books to make ourselves the special ones. Books broaden our vision and enrich our knowledge, we can see the world in the different angles, which makes us stand out. The way we talk will change as we read more book, we become mature and think in the profound way. Books will not endow us with fame and money, but it will make us the attractive persons.

universal studio is the place where films are made by using high techniques. in "back to the futuren, we rode the super light speed car into the time tunnel, passing through many clashes and dangers, flying over the surface of stars and encountering a lot of dinosaurs. we were shakened by the dinosaur and then engulfed by him in one swallow. it was fun. and i screamed in fear.
"e. t","jaws","earthquake", and "terminator" are all such films made by hi-tech. we rode with et into space and saw ets family. we came across a big white shark. the tank eploded and flames of fire spread on the surface of the water. the film is made in such an easy way.the carthquake is made really true to life. the earth shakes and the subways are distorted, the ground sinks and water pipes break. the wires catch fire and the flood rushes in. it is amusing."terminator" puts you into a mied fight in science fiction. all wore so fightened. they sereamed. i shrank under the chair. wearing the three-dimensional glasses, i saw everything clearly and true to life and got even more frightened by the laser guns, the smoke, the fogete.
hi-tech in the united states is very advanced, this is not an ordinary playground. it has many elements of science.
英语作文 篇6
The following appeared as part of a company memorandum.
Adopting an official code of ethics regarding business practices may in the long run do our company more harm than good in the public eye. When one of our competitors received unfavorable publicity for violating its own code of ethics, it got more attention from the media than it would have if it had had no such code. Rather than adopt an official code of ethics, therefore, we should instead conduct a publicity campaign that stresses the importance of protecting the environment and assisting charitable organizations.
Discuss how well reasoned... etc.
This company memorandum suggests that, in lieu of adopting an official code of ethics, the company should conduct a publicity campaign that stresses the importance of promoting certain societal interests. The reason for the suggestion is that an official code of ethics might harm the company in the public eye because a competing company received unfavorable publicity for violating its own ethics code. This argument is unconvincing, since it depends on several unwarranted assumptions as well as arguing against its own conclusion.
First of all, the author unfairly assumes that the two companies are sufficiently similar to ensure the same consequences of adopting an ethics code for this company as for its competitor. The competitor may have adopted an entirely different code from the one this company might adoptperhaps with unrealistic standards not embraced by any other companies. Perhaps the competitors violation was extremely egregious, amounting to an aberration among businesses of its type; or perhaps one notorious executive is solely responsible for the competitors violation. Any of these scenarios, if true, would show that the two companies are dissimilar in ways relevant to the likelihood that this company will experience similar violations and similar publicity if it adopts any ethics code.
