Ne Development for Central and Western
The Chinese government has recently decided to develop central and estern .
This part of includes nine provinces and autonomous regions, and one municipality. It covers an area of S. 4 million square kilometers ith a population of 2.85 hundred million.
The government ill pay special attention to its transportation. Some high ays and rail ays ill be built. In order to protect the nature, farmers ill let farmland revert to forest. Also, measures should be taken to prevent pollution. Western is rich in natural resources, hich can be exploited and made full use of. To meet the need of development, all kinds of experts and skilled orkers are to be brought in. As the result of the great project, e believe that central and estern regions of ill surely achieve better and faster development in the ne century.

中国政府最近决定开发中国中西部。
这部分地区包括9个省、自治区和一个直辖市。它占地540万平方公里，拥有2．85亿人口。
